During this unique program, you will get the chance to experience life in northern Ontario and urban Toronto and learn how to develop your leadership skills and become a positive youth change maker. You will get to work with talented entrepreneurs and successful business people to develop your own ideas to make Canada a more just, fair and equal place for all.
About the Jr. EC: The Jr. Economic Club of Canada works to educate Canadian youth and equip students with financial literacy and money management skills, entrepreneurship, work readiness skills and promote civic engagement and social responsibility. We have welcomed over 40,000 students from across Canada into our programming and given out over 150k in academic scholarships. The Jr. Economic Club leverages its connection with Canada’s business community to provide meaningful experiential learning opportunities for Canadian youth and bridge the gap between school and work.
About Canadian Roots Exchange: CRE builds bridges between Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth in Canada by facilitating dialogue and strengthening relationships through leadership programs. Through collective learning, CRE is committed to bringing Indigenous teachings into the everyday thought process of Canadians. Every CRE facilitator is equipped with an anti-oppression framework to create safe spaces for people of diverse backgrounds.
